I became "Doug the Pet Sitter" in January of 2006, after leaving the corporate business world. Having worked many years for Xerox Corporation, as manager of the Wall Street Branch, as owner of an auto parts business, and most recently in the pharmaceutical industry, I decided it was time to do something that I really enjoyed working with pets.

As a loving pet owner, I've always had a difficult time to find someone to care for the love of my life, Mei Ling, a spunky Lhasa Apso. Having gone through many pet sitters, I decided one day I would provide quality pet care so that pet owners would not have to agonize when they left their pets for any length of time.
